IT Analyst
Tyler Technologies is looking for an IT Analyst to join our Corporate IT Team! The IT Analyst position primary responsibilities will be for implementing and administrating our ITSM platform. As well as for identifying, developing, and implementing automation processes that enhance process efficiency and end user experiences for our internal customers.
The IT Analyst has primary responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining our internal ITSM platform, as well process automation across multiple IT teams. Work assignments will be of various size and complexity. The IT Analyst will need to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and execution of ITSM platforms as well as scripting / programming languages needed for development of automated processes.

Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.LocationTroy, Michigan | Yarmouth, Maine | Plano, TexasTravel0-5%ResponsibilitiesDriving process definition, re-engineering, improvement and gap analysis of current/to-be processes with key sponsors and stakeholdersDeveloping required documentation such gap analysis reports, process flow diagrams, automation workflows diagrams, etc.Identifying areas of process improvement (efficiency and effectiveness) and recommending, developing and implementing solutions.Managing and communicating ITSM process and business requirements.Working with other IT teams to integrate IT Service Management System with other systems (for the potential discovery of assets, auto-creation of Incidents via Event Management Systems, etc.). Monitor and maintain integrations after implementation.Answer "how to" technical and application configuration questions of other members of the technical team and process ownersFacilitate roll out of new applications and modules.Communication with business representatives to understand business functions and needs to provide an efficient automated solution.Conduct thorough and accurate testing of automated processes during design, integration, and implementation.Adhere to and assist in the development of standards and procedures.Asist with scripting needs for software deployment.Development of reports and reporting libraries for ITSM platform.Drive the continuous improvements of our ITSM platform and service offerings based on customer experiences.Occasional travel may occur.Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Sciences, Management Information Science, or Business. Equivalent work experience may substitute for degree requirement.Three or more years of experience in system administration.Two or more years of experience in developing, implementing, and supporting automated processes.In depth experience developing automated solutions using scripting / coding languages (such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, C#) required.Strong analytical and problem solving skills involving comprehensive research and fact finding along with effective root cause analysis, sound decision making and effective resolutions.Solid understanding of IT systems administration and standard IT processes.Keen attention to detail.Strong planning and organizational skills involving the ability to manage multiple work streams effectively.ITIL and ITSM process development including extensive experience with Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration ManagementProject management experienceThe ability to take complex end-user requirements to system requirements to code.Strong time management skills with proven track record of delivering successful results.Strong interpersonal and communication skills i
