We are offering a unique opportunity in the financial services industry in Mercer County, New Jersey. As an Entry Level AML Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting an AML/EDD project, reviewing customer files for transactions, and identifying patterns. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, providing a steppingstone into the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for an AML/EDD project, playing a significant role in ensuring compliance

• Review customer files meticulously, identifying and noting transaction patterns

• Work with Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), providing accurate and timely information

• Write comprehensive summaries on your findings, ensuring all relevant details are included

• Use intermediate-level Microsoft Excel to handle data, demonstrating efficiency and accuracy

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date

• Use your knowledge of finance, accounting, or economics to contribute to the team's objectives

• Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed, ensuring smooth operations

• Be open to continuous learning and skill development in the financial services industry

Requirements

• Must have an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge in AML - Anti Money Laundering is a plus.

• Familiarity with EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) processes is beneficial.

• Should be capable of performing data entry tasks.

• Should have a willingness to learn and adapt to the evolving financial market trends.

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have a problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detail.

• A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

• No minimum years of experience required, making it suitable for individuals at the start of their career.
