About Wash Technician 2nd Shift

  Job Summary:

  Directly support quality control as a first line of surface inspection during the washing of equipment prior to and after quality inspection processes. Wash Technician will be required to understand and offer suggestions for revisions to work instructions and technical procedures for their area.

  Hourly position.  2nd shift: M-Th 3:30pm -- 2:00am.  Position requires the ability to work over-time which may include arriving early or working on normally scheduled days off.

  *Essential Duties *include, but are not limited to:

  Works with water hoses and vesselsWorks with cleaning solvents and acids.Utilizes crane and carts to move product.Uses hand tools for assembly and disassembly.Operate a bead blaster to propel bead shaped abrasives from an air-powered tool toward a surface. Must be able to pass respirator training, work in hot and cold conditions, and wear a ventilated hood.Maintain accurate records and material traceability.Maintains quality assurance operations by following quality assurance policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.Independent, proactive, extremely detail oriented, dependable, organized and be able to handle multiple tasks.Able to work with minimal supervision and possess efficient work habits.Education and/or Experience Required:

  Ability to work from written and verbal English language instruction.Ability to write clearly in English language for others to read and understandA Wash Technician works on the production floor.  Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb.  Must be able to reach above and below shoulder and have fine finger manipulation.

  Starting Rate: $15.00 per hour. Plus .50 ¢ shift differential.
