The Job

　　A Field Service Technician (Service Engineer) on our Preventive Maintenance team contributes to the success of Hartwig by keeping our customers' CNC machine tools running at peak operating levels. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on the Hartwig team to repair and inspect their equipment to prevent expensive machine failures from occurring. This position supports our Southern Region. This is a great entry level opportunity for someone with mechanical maintenance experience who wants to learn about CNC machines.

　　Main responsibilities of this full-time role based in the Houston area include:

　　Conducting efficient and timely preventive maintenance on CNC machine tools, including changing fluids, filters and checking accuracy of calibrations.Recommending modifications and improvements to machines, equipment and processes.Training and instructing customers on preventive maintenance best practices and Hartwig services.Scheduling preventive maintenance customer visitsConducting inventory counts.Ability to complete necessary tasks in our service software and timecard system on a daily basis.Traveling to customer sites, usually within 2 hours from home, with occasional overnight travel.The Skills
