DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Facility Guardian Officer, you administer, control, and implement an autonomous program involving the fiscal management of client funds by verifying the accuracy and completeness of data in reports and documents. You interpret and apply a body of regulations and procedures, and reconcile records and controls maintained with related accounting data.
Duties associated with this position include guardianship, community guardianship, financial management, office administration, accounting, financial counseling, and fiscal advocacy. You also serve as a representative payee for clients. In addition, you supervise a fiscal staff engaged in classifying and recording transactions, adjusting and balancing accounts, and verifying manual and on-line accounting data for statements and reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work weekWork hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, one (1) day per week, after probationary period is completed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
