　　This position will be part of the Lockheed Martin Greenville South Carolina F16 Production Operations team. This position plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs and repairs various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies for F16 aircraft utilizing precision measuring equipment.

　　Other responsibilities include:

　　• Completing a sheet metal performance demonstration.

　　• Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals.

　　• Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

　　• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.

　　• Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.

　　• Occasionally sit, climb, and balance.

　　• Perform repetitive movements and work overhead.

　　• Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.

　　• Properly use, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures

　　• Read and speak English.

　　• Mission essential functions and other duties may be assigned as required.

　　• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

　　• While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform job tasks. The employee is regularly exposed to vibration.

　　This position is in Greenville, SC

　　Greenville F16 Production runs on a 7 day work week.

　　This position may be assigned to any of the 3 working schedules currently in use at the Greenville location:

　　1st Shift: 4X10A FLEX- 4 10 hr days Mon-Thurs; Fr/Sa/Su off. 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

　　2nd Shift: 4X10A FLEX- 4 10 hr days Mon-Thurs; Fr/Sa/Su off. 4:30 pm to 3:00 am

　　Weekend Shift: 3X12FLEX- 3 12 hr days Fri-Sun; Mo/Tu/We/Thurs off. 6:00 am to 6:30 pm

　　Working schedule will be provided after a candidate has accepted a position, passed background check and a start date is assigned. An completed Onboarding/Training requirements.

　　Successful completion of a Sheet Metal Performance Assessment will be required following an initial 4 week training period to maintain employment.

　　* Employee provided tools are not required for F-16 Production positions.

　　In the event an employee is re-assigned to Greenville Sustainment Operations, the employee will be required to provide a shadowed toolbox with etched tools per minimum inventory and specifications detailed by the company within 14 days of re-assignment.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　8+ years of aviation, Heavy manufacturing/Assembly or repair experience

　　-Basic understanding of manufacturing process.

　　Ability to perform assembly and installation work using assembly, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, precision measuring instruments, and mechanics hand tools.

　　-Experience reading and interpreting written specifications, blueprints and engineering drawings, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.

　　-Ability to mentor and train others in structures skills.

　　Desired Skills:

　　-Heavy Aircraft Structural Repair or Aircraft Sheet metal experience.

　　-Aircraft structural modification or heavy structures overhaul experience.

　　-Aircraft assembly, maintenance and/or modification experience preferred. Will consider commercial experience.

　　-Experience with drill ream and countersink, hydraulic installs.

　　-Knowledge of integral fuel tank sealing processes.

　　-Willing to be trained and/or certified in special skills.

　　Ability to mentor and train others in structures skills

　　Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
