Description: Summer internship position to supports research and development of Mechanical and/or ElectroMechanical parts and assemblies. Works under general direction, supports development of approaches and solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. General understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts in Mechanical Engineering. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Provides technical support to a wide range of difficult problems.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Current college student with demonstrated academic excellence coupled with excellent communications skills and the ability to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

　　Perusing a BSME degree from accredited college

　　US Citizen

　　Desired Skills:

　　Interest in applying the principles of Mechanical Engineering to the design and development of complex assemblies.

　　Competency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

　　Familiarity with PTC/CREO and/or CATIA design software is a plus.

　　Interest and/or experience in Electronic Packaging or Mechanical Design.

　　Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
