What you'll do: * The Tax Global Mobility Services Associate is responsible for the delivery of a full range of expatriate services: * Prepare or review US individual income tax returns and tax equalization calculations for inbound and outbound international assignees. * Participate in arrival and departure tax meetings for expatriates and in-patriates. * Preparation of Canadian and U.S. payroll estimates including hypothetical tax and shadow payroll * Communication with corporate clients and their assignees. * Assist with identification and conducting various consulting project including, but not limited to, compensation, internal client policies and other ad hoc activities. * Build on technical competence by keeping up-to-date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations. * Learn and grow from direct and on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs. * Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients. * Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals. * Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work-life balance.
