We are looking for an independent, well-organized, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to join the Smart Home org. This role requires attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, efficient organizational skills, and willingness to switch gears at a moment's notice. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior colleagues is key. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and independently, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without knowing the whole picture.The ability to plan ahead, manage time effectively, handle strategic projects, own the Directors' calendars, collaborate with other EAs and stakeholders, coordinate travel, submit expense reports, and assist with meeting agendas are critical to success.The ideal candidate is able to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the org, and keep abreast of general business objectives, policies, facilities, and related information to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the business and org.Key job responsibilities- Support the VP for a globally distributed team for multiple businesses- Assist & partner with a team of other EAs- Assist with program management for strategic projects; lead ad-hoc programs in support of the wider org- Maintain calendars- Manage org meetings collaboration mechanisms- Process expenses, travel, catering, etc.- Handle and safeguard confidential and sensitive data- In-office support for key meetings, events, etc.About the teamAmazon Alexa Smart Home is the fastest-growing and most deeply engaged domain in Alexa, and critical to the larger strategy of Amazon Devices & Services. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
