Description:

Position Purpose:
The EVS Team Lead is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe health care environment by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, departments, and other assigned areas. Trains all employees if department procedures and assists in daily support of the EVS team.
What you will do:
Contributing to the overall quality of care by performing required cleaning functions in assigned area.
Training all employees on department procedures.
Making visual spot inspections; assisting employees with procedural questions.
Performing daily staffing adjustments when call outs occur.
Executes proper cleaning procedures and demonstrates efficient, cost effective and safe use of housekeeping equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred; or one to three months’ related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
