We are seeking a Administrative Case Manager to join our Adult Behavioral Health team in Carlisle, PAEarn $19.49/hourGeneral Responsibilities:Assist in processing intakes into the Base Service Unit (BSU) as assigned.Provide case management services to consumers with mental illness. Services are rendered as needed and include assistance with assessing services and resources, contact with families, friends, school personnel, significant others; for the purpose of enhancing consumer's mental health services, assistance with problem solving, and advocacy to improve the consumers life situations, promote consumer choice, improve services and eliminate stigma. Individual administrative case managers are assigned specific responsibility for adult, child, or State Hospital consumers but may be assigned to other consumers as work load requires.Obtain authorization for the appropriate services required by the consumer.Records all significant information about consumer in the BSU files; including correspondence.Completes statistical and reporting forms as required by Merakey, County, and State.Complete liability determinations as assigned.Verify disability and assist consumers seeking to access benefits through Social Security, Social Security Disability, and DPW Disability.Monitor service delivery through review of evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and service plansReport as scheduled to the BSU Director to review cases and discuss concerns.Adheres to all Merakey, County, State, and Federal policies and regulations related to mental health services.Complies with Merakey ethics and code of conduct of own discipline, in contact with all consumers, co workers and the community.Participates in continuing education activities to further develop professional skills in mental health treatment and case management.Participates in Merakey Quality Improvement/Assurance activities.Attends department meetings, Merakey staff meetings, and meetings/trainings/conferences as requiredMaintains consumer confidentiality in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.Other duties as assigned.BenefitsMerakey offers medical, dental - vision insurance plans, competitive compensation plans and more!DailyPayWork/Life BalanceFlexible SchedulesCell Phone Discount PlansEmployee Referral BonusesTuition ReimbursementCare.com MembershipAbout MerakeyMerakey is a non-profit provider of developmental, behavioral health, and education services. Requirements
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, psychiatric nursing or related field.One year of experience in the human services field is preferred.Must have a valid PA Driver's License and have use of an automobile during work hours.
