Description:

　　The company is seeking a mid-level environmental engineer or scientist to work in either their Philadelphia, Lansdale, or South Jersey locations. Qualified candidates will have 3-6 years of experience on environmental remediation projects. Candidates will be on-site for the first few months or so and once established will have options to go hybrid upon internal discussions with managers. Must Haves E.I.T or P.E B.S in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Construction Management, or related field OSHA 40 • A completed employment application (see attached) • A writing sample – something technical is preferred • Three references with contact information that we can contact • Copies of college transcripts (unofficial downloaded version is fine – they don’t need to have a seal on them)

　　Must Haves E.I.T or P.E B.S in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Construction Management, or related field OSHA 40 DUTIES- Overseeing project team, delegating to office and field staff, and executing day to day activities of projects Conducting internal and client communications Monitoring team performance for compliance with contractual agreements and budgets Preparing proposals and reviewing/writing environmental reports Resolving project contractual and financial issues (including terms of agreement, changes in scope, billing process) Managing and mentoring GZA staff of project-level scientists and engineers Preparing technical design/analyses/calculations Participating in meetings and agency consultation Design of groundwater treatment, subslab depressurization, and air-sparge/vapor extraction systems Design of in-situ chemical oxidation remedies Design of earthwork projects including support of excavation Stormwater and erosion control design and permitting Ability to travel locally and regionally GZA emphasizes a One Company environment, and as a member of our team, you may be asked to assist on projects and tasks outside of your primary responsibilities Qualifications: Professional Licensure in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey 5+ years of experience at consulting engineering firms and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations of Pennsylvania and New Jersey Experience executing a wide range of environmental site investigation and site remediation projects MGP and/or emerging contaminant investigation / remediation project experience a plus
