Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: * Complete and/or support technical projects related to environmental due diligence and environmental compliance, including but not limited to: * Phase I Environmental Site Assessments * Permit application development (e.g., air emissions, storm water discharges, wastewater discharges, etc.) * Environmental plan development and updates, such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans (HWCPs) * Environmental compliance reporting, such as air emissions reporting, hazardous waste generator reporting, and Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) reporting (i.e., Tier II and Form R) * Conduct facility and site visits to gather information for written project work * Write technical reports and support development of client proposals * Work with various industrial clients * Comprehend and interpret regulations and guidelines * Develop working relationships and communicate effectively with supervisor, project directors, project managers, project team members, clients, and regulators What you will bring to the team: * Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university * 0 to 2+ years of experience * Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle * Some knowledge of environmental regulations affecting industry (Preferred, but not required) * OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus * Proficiency with MS applications * Ability to perform field work and travel overnight * Self-motivated, organized, and hard-working * Strong written and technical writing skills * Ability to excel in a multidisciplinary team environment as well as independently * Commitment to safety through a behavior-based safety (BBS) culture in all aspects of the job Why GHD Take on some of the world's toughest challenges - with everyone at GHD backing you every step of the way.
