As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

　　Skills/Experience :

　　2-6 years of experience.

　　Strong hands on experience in C/C++ programming language.

　　Knowledge of 3GPP protocols for MAC/ Phy for LTE/ NR

　　Good knowledge of OS concepts like threading, sync mechanism (mutex/semaphore).

　　Good knowledge of a versioning tool perforce . Hands on experience is a must.

　　Good knowledge in SCM principles.

　　Hands on experience in Linux/Unix environment.

　　Basic Knowledge of Python and Scripting.

　　Knowledge of SCF.222 interface specs is bonus.

　　Must have strong debugging skills.

　　Responsibilities :

　　Candidate is responsible for developing new features across L2-L1 interface.

　　Sanity/Smoke testing the builds before delivering it to customer.

　　Candidate should quickly identify and eliminate manual, repetitive tasks through automation.

　　Generate and provide reports to management/stake holders.

　　Ability to mentor folks and ramp them up quickly on new tasks.

　　Ability to design, develop and deploy tasks independently

　　Work independently with little supervision.

　　Engage with multiple teams(Dev/QA/CE) and manage their daily build/automation requirements.

　　Use verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. May require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.

　　Have a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to provide input on key decisions).

　　Completing tasks that do not have defined steps; simultaneous use of multiple mental abilities is generally required to determine the best approach; mistakes may result in significant rework.

　　Exercise substantial creativity to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products within guidelines or to achieve established objectives.

　　Use deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.

　　Occasionally participate in strategic planning within own area affecting immediate operations.

　　Display deep knowledge in a specific area; share knowledge with others on team and help less experienced engineers understand and apply advanced concepts.

　　Education Requirements :

　　Bachelors / Masters in Technology in EC/CS/IT or MCA (Master of Computer Application)
