　　Shift: 6pm-4:30am; floats to other sites within MH system

　　Summary:

　　Responsible for all clerical activities of the department, including registration, order entry verification of coverage, record preparation for billing, working reports and medical records processing. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

　　Qualifications:

　　Required:Three years of experience in physician billing, third party reimbursementThree years of experience in an administrative healthcare setting, emergency department and/or busy customer service environmentStrong organizational skills and customer service orientationKnowledge of health insurance field and billingStrong computer skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

　　Preferred:Experience scheduling staffExperience working in a Union environmentBachelor’s Degree in related fieldICD-9 and CPT-R coding experienceCompletion of a medical terminology course from a recognized healthcare programExperience in an Emergency Department
