Responsible for product design related NORMA drawings including the creation and tracking of the according part numbers. Use the specified data base with required documentation to request product testing or prototype builds. Use specified system to issue work orders for design related work, creation of CAD models or drawings. Oversee the creation of new product, CAD models and drawings, which meet customer requirements. Review drawings prior to design release to ensure information is correct. Communicate the detailed design to the project or inquiry team and frequent reviews with internal and external stakeholders. Provide 3D model and drawings to team for quoting purposes. Review designs during PLC-A projects with team to ensure concepts are feasible for manufacturing. Address questions on the function of the products from customers. Responsible for the product and material verification and validation process to satisfy the customer's demands and reduce risk for NORMA, including checking in the design follows the limits described via the D-FMEA, actively contributing as a team member in D-FMEA sessions, and able to present to stakeholders. Prepare a new Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) or confirm an existing DVP&R is suitable for the intended application. Identify, communicate, and lead PDE PLC-A projects.
