Job Description

　　The Emergency Care Ambassador is responsible for greeting and properly screening & assisting all visitors to our emergency department while providing the best possible service experience in a clean & organized environment.

　　COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $17 to $19, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

　　If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

　　Salary: $17 ? $19 per hour

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Greets & provides support and assistance to individuals receiving care in the Emergency Department.Verify individual is properly screened, using defined process and policy at entrance into the EDProvides excellent customer service and maintains a positive attitude towards all visitors, co-workers, hospital staff, etc. ultimately reducing anxietyMaintains the privacy, safety, and dignity of each visitor by observing confidentiality and by strictly adhering to safety and sanitation standardsEnsures prompt response to any request for information and escalates any delays or other problems that are identified to proper ED authorityAdheres to all Aramark safety policies and procedures including the use of proper personal protective gear and following proper infection control measures.Other duties and tasks as assigned by ED Supervision ? always remaining flexible to positively & safely assist however appropriately

　　Qualifications

　　Previous guest service and / or patient relations experience preferredMust have the ability to follow oral or written instructions and directions.Must be able to communicate effectively with both written and verbal skillsRequires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detailAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop and crouch for extended periods of timeRequires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 25 lbs., with occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 50 lbs.
