　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　Support the development of Electronic Modules utilized in the control and monitoring of various systems on-board the aircraft. Tasks include documentation and performance of hardware and software verification, review of electronics schematics, layout, and code, and certification documentation of Textron-developed electronics.

　　JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Design review, hardware and software verification testing, and certification documentation for new or modified printed circuit board modules for aircraft

　　Apply electrical engineering theory and the operation of electronic test equipment to functionally test and troubleshoot avionics/electrical modules or systems

　　Validate electronic circuit design concepts using SPICE or similar software

　　Review printed circuit board schematic and layouts

　　Review VHDL code used to modify and maintain Programmable Logic Devices

　　Review ASM and C used to modify and maintain microcontrollers

　　Support the preparation of engineering certification reports to document system designs that meet the requirements of certification authorities

　　Participate in cross functional teams to understand and gather business requirements for new or updated processes

　　Qualifications

　　EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

　　Bachelor’s Degree in:

　　Electrical Engineering

　　Electrical Engineering Technology

　　Other related Engineering field

　　Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience or relative aviation technical or systems experience.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Experience with use of electronic test equipment

　　Strong computer skills

　　Time management skills are required to work multiple concurrent projects of various size and scope

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Professional and diplomatic demeanor

　　Familiarity with RTCA DO-178, DO-254, and DO-160 desired
