　　Amazon is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers’ high-profile, consumer electronics products such as the Kindle, Kindle Fire, Fire TV and Echo. The products we design and engineer are easy to use and offer users benefits that are only made possible through tightly integrated digital technologies and wireless connectivity.

　　The Electrical Engineer intern works closely with teams located in both the US and China throughout the development cycle. As a member of the team, you will assist the driving of cross-functional communication within region. You will assist in closely monitoring and driving activities including tooling release, process qualification, and material preparation for builds.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　• Work closely with Hardware Engineering teams and Technology teams as well as suppliers to keep development schedules on track

　　• Assist the driving and tracking of hardware design readiness for Engineering builds

　　• Participate in the hardware development and review

　　• Assist in the organization of technical data documentation throughout the development cycle

　　• Travel domestically and internationally to supplier sites as needed to keep project on schedule

　　Basic Qualifications

　　• Currently enrolled in pre-final year of Bachelor or above degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field

　　• Availability to complete a 3-month full time internship during summer holiday.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　• Knowledge of electronic design in consumer electronics

　　• Knowledge of electronic components, design validation, qualification, and analysis

　　• Familiar with CAD software like Orcad and Allegro

　　• Excellent oral and written communication skills (Chinese and English)

　　• Strong organizational and problem solving skills

　　• Demonstrated critical thinking capability

　　• Self-motivated and proactive

　　• Previous internship experience

　　• Past experience or coursework in electronic design and project management
