Amazon Fresh Grocery team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead multiple initiatives that support an omni-channel retail business (e.g., assortment, buying/vendor management, product management, instock, operations, marketing/merchandising) and identify growth opportunities. They will be able to deliver results at both a strategic and tactical level across all aspects of the business.
In this role, you will own several cross-functional initiatives, drive performance through managing strategic projects and achieving KPIs, and set a vision for your programmatic areas. You will manage programs from start-to-finish, including scoping, prioritization and timelines, partnering with key partners across the organization to streamline processes and/or identify tech solutions, and communicate progress reports broadly and with data.
The ideal Senior Program Manager will have a proven track record of complex project and program delivery, from conception and design through implementation, measurement, and monitoring. This leader will be able to manage multiple, cross-functional competing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and agility are encouraged. The ideal candidate can see around corners, is adept at eliminating complexity, is biased for action in ensuring the program is set up for success in achieving our goals, has experience making the right tradeoffs, and earns trust through broad stakeholder influence. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
Operate autonomously to build, develop and manage the communication and adoption strategy for cross-functional programs
Set delivery/completion dates of program milestones and establish a regular review cadence to report on the state and impact of your initiatives
Utilize metrics to deep-dive into issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns.
Partner closely with centralized program/product managers, category teams, operations and tech leads to deliver on your roadmap
Drive alignment with senior leaders and key cross-functional partners
Implement mechanisms to drive efficiency and automation of internal processes

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
