About Principal Product Manager - Technical, AWS Identity

  Description

Want to help customers control and secure access to some of the most sensitive data on the internet? Security is the #1 concern of customers adopting the cloud, and the AWS Identity team defines and enforces the access model for AWS. We run massively scaled, globally distributed systems that authenticate every AWS transaction.

We are seeking a deeply technical Principal Product Manager to drive the strategy and product roadmap for a range of Identity services. As a Principal Product Manager – Technical, you will define the vision for how we evolve fundamental user experiences, from our customer’s initial sign-up experience to features that streamline the daily work of our customers’ administrators and end users. You will have end-to-end product responsibility from working with external and internal customers to making roadmap tradeoffs and delivering revolutionary new features and functionality that improve the customer experience. The successful candidate will form a strategy that gets to the core of what customers value, set priorities that move that strategy forward, and influence across teams spanning AWS Identity, Security, and beyond to bring that vision to life.

Candidates should enjoy working in a collaborative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates dive deep into data, have strong writing skills, and can confidently lead teams to alignment in ambiguous problem spaces.

Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and we host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences. Amazon’s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 16 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.

  Key job responsibilities

As a principal product manager, you will drive our strategy, product roadmap for individual identity and workforce identity based products. You will have end-to-end product responsibility from working with key customers to delivering revolutionary new features and functionality. In addition, you will lead launch activities, relentlessly dive deep with customers and AWS teams, author and present data-driven narratives to AWS leadership, and more.
