Electrical Engineer
Our client, one of the most important companies in the consumer goods Industry, is seeking an Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Greensboro, NC (Brown Summit Plant)
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will assist on shift E&I “electric resources“ in troubleshooting machine outages due to electrical failure.
Candidate’s will need to enter electrical panels and power down electrical power supplies safely.
They will be working on high speed packing lines
Responsible for development and innovation in electrical design, programming, and digitization of automated, robotic, and information systems
Lead process improvement in terms of material utilization, safety, and cost
Own and build Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Human to Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
Requirements:
The candidate must be GBET qualified and must be able to work on low voltage (less than 1000 volts)
PLC and HMI knowledge ( should have strong troubleshooting skills in PLC’s)
Must be able to read electrical schematics.
Knowledge of servo drives
Basic understanding of IWS
Strong troubleshooting skills
Looking for an Electrical Engineer to work 20 hours a week on 2nd shift, 3rd shift and weekends
2nd shift hours 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
3rd shift hours 10:00 pm to 6:00 am or 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
