　　Ameresco’s Federal Solutions Group has a new opportunity for an Electrical Apprentice to join our purpose-driven team. This position is based out of Columbia, MD.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Demonstrate safe work habits and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow works and the protection of the public.

　　Assist with repairing, testing, troubleshooting, inspecting; and installing, removing and maintaining solar site equipment such as solar panels, inverters, transformers, breakers, switchgear, and SCADA equipment.

　　Interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level, working both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team.

　　Complete written and electronic records including timecards.

　　Perform other duties as required.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　High School Diploma or equivalent

　　Electric/electronic maintenance experience in the repair, inspection, testing, installation and/or maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment.

　　Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by state of residence.

　　Ability to review confidential US security information.

　　Additional Qualifications:

　　Knowledge of electricity, voltage and current relationships for both AC and DC circuits.

　　Ability to successfully complete position training and testing requirements.

　　Ability to push, pull, bend, stand, stoop, lift, carry, reach, climb, hear, see, and work on ladders for extended periods of time with hands and arms at heights to install and troubleshoot equipment.
