  Quality Assurance Director

  Reporting to the Sr Director, our Nuclear division in Middleburg Heights is looking for a Quality Assurance Director to join and lead their team! As the Quality Assurance Director, you will lead the development, implementation and maintenance of highly regulated quality assurance systems and activities for the business unit. We will rely on you to deliver successful audit and compliance functions, directly and indirectly manage and influence the quality team, and deliver overall exceptional department performance.

  Your Challenge:

  Establishes and maintains quality assurance unit system and methods on a periodic basis to ensure its efficient operation and its compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

  Reviews and disseminates regulatory reference information that may affect the operation of the quality assurance unit or other areas.

  Reports the status of compliance with applicable regulations and standards that relate to studies, operations, and facilities to management.

  Reviews quality assurance unit inspection reports to assess findings, responses, and need for follow-up activities.

  Serves as a key contact for inspections and provides input for responses to those inspections.

  Ensure compliance of products with Nuclear Power industry regulations and standards, CWN Quality program requirements and customer quality and technical requirements.

  What You Bring:

  Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management and direct interface experience dealing with customer representatives.

  Experience with U.S. commercial nuclear industry standards required.

  Participation in U.S. Navy Nuclear training programs desired.

  Strong communication and leadership skills

  Experience leading and coaching subordinates and achieving results.

  Effective problem-solving skills.

  Display an understanding of the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.
