We are looking for a field technician to conduct construction inspections for projects located in the Twin Cities area. SRF Consulting Group, Inc. has opportunities at all ranges of experience in the Twin Cities area to be an important member of our Civil Construction Inspection Team. Inspection team members perform quality assurance inspections and ensure contract compliance for various public infrastructure projects. SRF has a long tradition of partnering and contributing to construction projects of significance across the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. Responsibilities: Perform construction inspection for highway/municipal/roadway projects. Complete daily diaries and other project documentation, both on paper and electronically. Ensure compliance of contractors work with plans, specifications and policies of the owner. Read and interpret plans and specifications. Preferred Qualifications: A two-year civil technology degree or previous experience performing construction inspections and observations. Required Qualifications: Valid Driver's License, with an acceptable motor vehicle record. Excellent communication and record keeping skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand / walk for long periods of time. Able to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
