Medical Guardian is seeking a Director of Product to lead our growing product development within Medical Guardian. The right candidate for this role will have a passion for creating a product strategy in support of the long-term plans of the business. This person will be developing new products whether they are physical devices or software offerings. Applicants should have experience and expertise managing internet connected devices (IoT). This role is fast paced and is suited for an independent self-starter as they will be the main person responsible for ensuring that products are being thoughtfully developed based on data collected from internal and external sources. Medical Guardian develops and manages Medical Alert Devices, so ensuring products are operating optimally is a critical aspect of this role.

　　General Responsibilities:

　　This role will be responsible for the product strategy, roadmap, and execution of all Consumer IoT products sold by Medical Guardian. Create, own, plan and manage the Consumer IoT portfolio of high-quality products & services through a lifecycle of envisioning//innovating/launching/supporting. Define KPI's and metrics to measure Product and technical performance. Collect requirements from business stakeholders on new product development needs or iterative changes to existing products Build and maintain a product roadmap supporting the delivery of the most appropriate technology solutions, to stay ahead of market trends Manage every stage of IoT product development Responsible for bringing a product from research and development to market, working with everyone from engineers to marketing teams to manufacturers Support existing products and meet with manufacturers to drive product feature changes based on customer and internal data analysis Gather and present product data for business with recommended changes or developments Product issue management handling with stakeholders from each department and vendors as needed Prepare product development plans and provide product development risk and management reports Create and maintain documentation for different business units on product features and functionality that can be used for customer consumption and internal training Assist with product training and marketing collateral development as needed

　　The candidate must be extremely organized, self-sufficient and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements. Attention to detail and ability to execute within timeline and budget are skills that lend to success in this role. Interdepartmental relationship building and communication skills are essential for this position.

　　Skills and Experience:

　　Bachelor's degree in relevant field 3+ years working in a similar role Experience managing IoT device hardware and software Experience working with development teams Experience working with offshore manufacturing teams preferred

　　Work Hours and Travel Requirements:

　　Candidate must be open to assisting in troubleshooting and analysis in the event of off-hours production problems, as needed. The IT Team works in a hybrid environment that requires a minimum of two days per week in the Philadelphia office.
