Description
Audit and evaluate processes for effectiveness and/or compliance to regulatory requirements and conduct final inspection of manufactured articles to ensure completed article meets type design requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
55% - Perform final inspections of manufactured articles to ensure completed article meets type design requirements.
5% - Create, revise, and implement new policies and procedures.
5% - Participate and acts as a representative in audits when audited by outside organizations (i.e., customers and regulatory organizations) and when auditing vendors.
5% - Interpret regulatory requirements and processes against requirements.
5% - Gather data for established measurement metrics which may include preparing metrics for managers’ review.
5% - Assists with the administration of the CAPA system.
5% - Reviews and approves manufacturing plans, Engineering Change Orders, Purchase Orders.
5% - Assists with the Non-conforming Product program.
5% - Audit internal departments and external organizations for effectiveness of quality system processes
5% - Evaluating customer satisfaction and addressing customer feedback.
Performance of FAA safety sensitive inspection functions may be required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
Extensive experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and regulations as they relate to aircraft manufacturing.
Good understanding of and experience in Aircraft Production
Experience working in and with heavy-lift helicopters strongly preferred
Familiarity and interpreting written and unwritten procedures
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations with familiarity and experience of all aspects of 14 CFR
Airframe and Powerplant license is strongly preferred
Minimum five (5) years’ hands-on experience in an aircraft or airframe manufacturing or overhaul facility.
Proficient in the use of precision measuring devices such as, calipers, micrometers, etc.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of audiences at all levels
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time with attention to detail including input from other departments
Ability to work individually as well as in a team setting
Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. Person
