BlueHalo is seeking a Program Director who can oversee scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of fast paced development programs and their associated contracts.
Program Directors ensure master program baselines (cost, schedule and performance) are developed and followed, identifying and mitigating program risks, and directing internal and external team members for successful completion of project that meets customer requirements, on time and on budget.
Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes.
Tracks subcontractor costs and prepares monthly internal/external financial and program deliverables with support from Technical SME’s and Program Control staff.
Must be able to interface with the customer, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders such as contracts/subcontracts, finance, purchasing, and human resources.
He/She may also aid with proposal development, contract negotiation, contract compliance, and business development.
Proposal preparation may include assisting with plans, specifications and financial terms of the contract.
Experience with small UAS and Autonomous systems is preferred.
You’re required to have this
Candidate will have a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in management/program management and a Bachelors’ degree (or equivalent additional experience).
Candidate must have experience with/understanding of DoD contracting and acquisition processes.
In addition, experience with: 1) Autonomous System design and/or implementation 2) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) engineering, operation, or design, and/or modeling and simulation of air and ground systems, would be strong discriminators.
Candidate must have an active security clearance, but exceptional candidates with the ability to successfully undergo government screening to obtain the appropriate level of clearance will also be considered.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential.
Must be proficient in use Microsoft business tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Candidate should: 1) be extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills, 2) have experience as part of a cohesive team and be able to deliver the highest quality service, 3) be able to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Desired but not required:
Knowledge of Unanet
Experience building and tracking an integrated master schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project.
EVMS experience to include working with a resource-loaded IMS
Experience working with US Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) or other US Army acquisition organizations
