Summary This position is located in the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR), Operations Branch, Financial and Resource Management Section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Responsibilities Provides advice and guidance on matters involving the full range of personnel management policy and procedure, management analyses issues, and related functions such as voucher audit, time and attendance, leave, payroll, facilities, etc. Serves as administrative contact for the Division of Complex Institution Supervision & Resolution (CISR), to include handling all personnel management matters including staffing, classification, employee relations and labor relations, training, facilities and special services. Serves as the liaison between CISR and the Division of Administration (DOA) regarding personnel management and position management policy, procedures and other matters affecting administrative programs. Researches and develops Division policy and procedures on a wide variety of administrative issues, including recruitment, staffing, position management, travel, facilities, etc. Directs and/or attends formal meetings related to union contracts, administrative procedures, facilities, etc., on behalf of the Division. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing advice, assistance and guidance to managers and employees on administrative policies and procedures in order to provide operational services in the areas of human resource management, performance management, and/or procurement/purchasing. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
