JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Food Service Assistant 2 (FSA 2) performs theduties associated with a large and complex food service program. Dutiesinclude portioning product, vegetable cleaning and preparation, trayline posts, bagging flatware, ware-washing, making toast, cleaning andsanitation, dining rooms, pots and pans, delivery and pick-up, pouringcoffee, slicing and buttering bread, assembling nourishments and snacks,and assisting and training new staff. Duties may include working indining rooms, nourishment, or snack program. This position works as anintegral part of the food service team. These are part-time positionswith the option to pick up additional hours as desired with no requiredovertime. FSA 2 LTEs work 10-hour shifts (core shifts: 6:00am to 4:30pm,8:15am to 6:45pm) and must work varying hours and weekend shifts asrequired. LTE jobs are limited to 1039 hours in a 12-month period and donot include employee benefits. Job duties require the ability to performwork that is medium to heavy in nature. This position frequently liftsup to 50 pounds, pushes/pulls up to 80 pounds, hand grips up to 30pounds, pinches up to 15 pounds, sits, stands/walks, bends/reaches,climbs and uses hand-eye coordination. Employment in this position iscontingent upon passing a pre-employment tuberculosis (TB) skin test.Due to the nature of the position, WDVA will conduct a background checkprior to an offer of employment.
