About Director, Global Marketing Finance

  Reporting to the VP, Finance, the Marketing Finance Director will partner with Marketing and Brand Management teams across organizational segments to develop Marketing strategies, provide insightful financial analysis and guidance and Corporate Controllers Group to develop financial plans and policies across our Marketing Investments. This will include leading efforts to promote and incorporate best practices and benchmarks to improve processes and efficiencies. Partner with business to establish industry benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of Marketing programs, provide recommendations and ensure sound financial decisions are made. Provide guidance, leadership and support professional development of staff and lead/participate in projects cross-functionally and across broader finance organization. You will also perform business partnering, analytics, AOP & Strat Plan, monthly forecasting, metrics & scorecard, and period close. Minimum 10 years of related experience.

  You Will:

  Partner with Corporate Controllers Group on accounting and finance related policies, controls and applications.

  Collaborate across reporting segments to establish and ensure processes, policies, and controls are being incorporated.

  Partner with Marketing and Brand Management teams to develop Marketing strategies, assess business needs, resolve risks and opportunities in a timely manner, clear communication of issues/business results and establishing and maintaining industry benchmarks to measure effectiveness of Marketing programs.

  Update monthly forecast for Marketing expenses based on business changes. Communicate changes to leadership by providing specific, actionable, and forward-looking commentary on changes and guidance on potential opportunities and risk.

  Lead month-end/quarter-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues on time (including P&L and Balance Sheet responsibilities).

  Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models to support business needs.

  Lead the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for Marketing Investments.

  Lead the delivery of metrics, scorecards, and reporting for Marketing Investments.

  Provide FP&A and Audit support as needed.

  Participate and/or lead finance wide-projects.

  Lead in modernizing our systems and processes via technology solutions to deliver efficiencies and controls while improving accuracy of expenses and accruals.

  Lead Marketing Finance team through recruiting, coaching, and developing talent and promote a culture focused on building diverse talent, high performance, and continuous improvement.

  You Have:

  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  10 years + of professional general business and financial experience.

  Experience in P&L management, along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts.

  Demonstrated ability to work across multiple departments to complete projects or resolve an organizational challenge.

  Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred.

  Experience with Power BI or other automation tools preferred.
