Breakfast Bar Attendant. 4 temp, full-time positions. 4/1/23 12/20/23.TYM Ltd, LLC d/b/a Grand Canyon Holiday Inn Express located in GrandCanyon, Arizona. Email: <[email protected]>. Attend food and beveragebuffet areas ensuring a high level of quality and consistency. Adhere toall health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards that meet state andlocal Health Board inspection, brand standard, and hotel requirements.Prepare and/or transport all food and beverage items and associatedsupplies, equipment, and materials to and from the buffet areas. Monitorarea to ensure adequate supplies of food, beverage, trays, plates,utensils, napkins, condiments, etc. to serve all guests; replenishbuffet items and areas as necessary. Follow preparation methods, times,and quality and presentation standards. Monitor taste, appearance,texture, serving temperature, portion size, and garnish method asrequired. Welcome guests and respond to requests in a prompt andprofessional manner. Refer any serious matters to management. Monitorand control food and beverage costs by ensuring procedures are followedto ensure the security and proper storage of food and beverage products,inventory, and equipment and to minimize waste. Maintain a clean, neat,and well-organized work and buffet area, which may include but is notlimited to hoods, filters, steam tables, bus tables, carts, sinks,refrigerator/freezers, service areas, walls, floors, sneeze guards, andcounters. Empty trash receptacles and clear tables as required.Monday-Sunday, 5:00am-Noon, days vary. OT possible. 35 hrs/week. OTpossible. High School Diploma required. 3 months of food service or foodpreparation required. Post-employment drug testing may be required. Foodservice certificate preferred, but not required. PWD: \$14.51/hr. OT at\$21.77/hr. Workers paid bi-weekly. Optional housing available at\$65.00 a week plus \$150.00 deposit to be deducted from pay if elected.On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered toany worker in the specified occupation, at the companys sole discretion,based on individual factors including work performance, skill andtenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Alldeductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. Ifthe worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer willreimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the placeof recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the workcontract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer willprovide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation andsubsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed towork, except where the worker will not return due to subsequentemployment with another employer or where the employer has appropriatelyreported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount oftransportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the mosteconomical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least \$14/day during travelto a maximum of \$59/day with receipts. H2B Workers will be reimbursedin the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing andother related fees, including those mandated by the government (exceptpassport fees). Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools,supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees tooffer work for hours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12 wkperiod of total employment period.
