The primaryfunction of the Food Service Worker is to cook/prepare food for 100+residents and assist the Lead Food Service workers in areas related tothe food services operations. Some duties and essential functionsinclude: Cook meals in large quantities. Assist staff to superviseresidents while in dining room. Assist with supervision of food prepworkers.Remain current on food services and health/sanitation licensingrequirements Assist with the daily cleaning schedule of allcooking/cleaning staff assigned to kitchen, storage and dining roomareas including sweeping and/or mopping. Assist the Food ServiceSupervisor in maintaining compliance with all food services licensingand fire safety inspection authorities. Work in cooperation with RVCPstaff assigned to plan special food services events, i.e. staff parties,luncheons, meetings, dinners, holiday events, etc. Direct work inkitchen during your shift. Assist with program foods on the units andkeeping in compliance/cleanliness. CBRF training\'s that are requiredfor this position are paid by RVCP, Inc.
