As part of the Source-to Contract program, the Director of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is responsible for the architecture and implementation of a procurement-wide customer relationship management program which will enable breakthrough innovation and other key strategic initiatives for Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) departments to maximize value from stakeholder collaboration with procurement and supplier.
This role will also be responsible for the development and socialization of the procurement capability model and program, to elevate the global procurement team's capabilities in key areas and leverage technology in support of agile frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have strong relationship building experience as well as analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. We are looking for self-motivated and high energy individuals who will support the new vision of the Global Sourcing and Procurement organization. Studio, Media and/or Sourcing experience is required.
Responsibilities
Create and align internal stakeholder CRM program with SPE leadership; deliverables will include: robust SPE division segmentation framework, comprehensive customer engagement model, net promotor or trusted advisor performance management toolkits.
Align the department’s people, processes, and systems in standardized playbooks across the categories to support customer needs and drive value. The objective is to incrementally enhance our relationships with our internal business partners to drive consistent and measurable value over time.
Foster a mindset shift among business leaders and potential partners that enables
openness to partnerships.
Increase trust with stakeholders through direct, honest constructive feedback framework to establish a foundation for mutual trust to address underlying challenges and unlock unrealized procurement and supplier partner value.
Develop and syndicate the CLM engagement playbook for path to value generating SPE procurement and supplier partnerships, as measured by alignment from procurement leadership and adoption of playbook across all categories
In partnership with People & Organization department and procurement category teams, create the procurement capability model with clear roadmap and development of learning plan to elevate procurement capability in 1-2 targeted areas.
Manage and develop internal relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout SPE’s various business units and coordinate partnership opportunities and requirements with other Sony entities (Electronics, Music, PlayStation, etc.)
Lead department learning and development initiatives that support developing the team as trusted advisors.
Qualifications
7-10 years multi-category procurement experience, preferably in strategic supplier relationship management
Bachelor’s degree in business; MBA preferred
Ability to effectively interact with senior leadership roles - VP, SVP internally and externally
Ability to build relationships. manage conflict and embrace change in a constantly evolving business landscape
Strong organization. presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong problem-solving capability to figure out solutions to complex issues
Comfort in ambiguity as demonstrated by being able to adapt in less-structured environment
Able to work independently while keeping Procurement Executive Leadership apprised of progress and issues
The anticipated base salary for this position is $146,500 – $195,900. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits.
