Description

　　Hybrid position available! A pharmaceutical company based in Morristown, NJ is currently seeking a Senior Accountant on a contract to full-time basis. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller, and will provide general accounting support due to growing business demands. The Senior Accountant will be tasked with reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, conducting variance analysis, and assisting with preparing monthly reports. The ideal Senior Accountant will have recent experience working in the pharmaceutical sector, and will have an understanding of revenue deductions. Recent experience using MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is a must!

　　Detailed and have the ability work independently

　　Ability to work well with functional department managers

　　Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

　　BA/BS in Accounting

　　Strong analytical capabilities and discernment

　　Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

　　Vow to meet business deadlines

　　Adeptness in year end closings

　　Gross to Net experience

　　Command of bank reconciliations

　　Account reconciliation experience desired

　　Foundational knowledge in journal entries

　　Experience with variance analysis

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Monthly Reporting

　　Proficient in ERP systems

　　Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

　　Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner

　　Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
