About Human Resources (HR) Manager

  Description

  HR Generalist Functions:

  · Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

  · Act as the go-to resource for HR-related inquiries and provide guidance to employees.

  · Eventually, lead and mentor an HR Generalist or Assistant as the team expands.

  Payroll Management (Paycom):

  · Take ownership of the weekly payroll process for approximately 130 employees using Paycom

  · Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll through the Paycom software, addressing any discrepancies or issues.

  Manufacturing Experience:

  · Utilize your manufacturing industry knowledge to tailor HR strategies to the unique needs of the organization.

  · Collaborate with operational teams to understand workforce requirements and contribute to workforce planning.

  Strategic Initiatives:

  · Work on strategic initiatives aimed at reducing turnover and improving the overall work environment.

  · Analyze HR metrics, especially within Paycom, to identify areas for improvement and implement proactive, efficient solutions.

  Team Leadership:

  · As the HR team expands, take a leadership role in hiring and leading HR Generalist or Assistant.

  · Foster a positive and collaborative team culture within the HR department.

  Requirements

  Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  Strong understanding of HR practices, payroll processing, and employee relations.

  Experience with Paycom software for payroll processing.

  Ability to lead strategic initiatives focused on reducing turnover and enhancing workplace culture.

  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a desire to mentor and develop others.
