Job Summary

We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to resolving technical challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.

Install, configure, and update Windows/macOS operating systems and applications.

Manage Active Directory accounts, group policies, and user permissions.

Support email systems (Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, or Google Workspace).

Assist with VPN and remote access issues for employees working remotely.

Perform software installations, updates, and patches.

Maintain and troubleshoot SCCM, imaging, and deployment processes.

Set up and configure new user workstations and IT equipment.

Document issues, solutions, and IT procedures in the ticketing system.

Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Provide basic training to users on IT best practices and security policies.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 2+ years of desktop support, IT helpdesk, or technical support experience.

Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.

Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and email troubleshooting.

Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

Experience with SCCM, imaging, and software deployment tools is a plus.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
