Here, you will make an impact by:Provide on-site technical support for end-users at 3M.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.Resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.Communicate technical information to end-users in a clear and concise manner.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionORHigh School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and four (4) years of IT experienceThree (3) years experience supporting end user computing hardware or softwarein a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Deep technical knowledge of pcs, desktop hardware, current protocols, operating systems and standardsSoftware and Hardware Troubleshooting Experience in provisioning, imaging and deploying devices and device managementExperience with mobile device management systemsExperience working in a regulated environment (SOX, FDA, etc.)Cross-functional IT expertise (applications, security, network and database infrastructure)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to create effective and engaging communicationsExcellent interpersonal and team collaboration skillsCustomer service mindset and sense of urgencyExperience working in a large, multi-national corporationExperience with client-facing 3M IT supported systems and internal procedures to support those systemWork location:On-Site [3M Campus]Travel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
