Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Architecture Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Develop and maintain logical data models. Transform logical models into physical database designs for relational or NoSQL platforms. Develop mappings of sources to target databases, including documentation of transformation rules. Develop and enhance conceptual, logical and physical data models. Use Netezza, SQL and database tuning. Maintain high-quality metadata to support the enterprise data dictionary. Communicate with architects and modelers working in parallel tracks to maintain consistency of models and deliverables. Assess the quality of data during development and test phases of projects, and open trouble tickets when defects are found. Follow up with development teams to ensure that issues are resolved expeditiously. Respond to trouble tickets opened by testers and production users who report defects in the data. Pinpoint the root cause and assign tickets to appropriate development teams. Oversee the development of scripts to implement data model changes, archive and purge, or correct bad data, as required. Contribute to standards for logical and physical model development. Develop or enhance templates and quality standards for modeling team deliverables such as mappings and technical specs. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Manager, Sr Technical Architect, Business Intelligence Analyst, Technology Architect, Data Modeler, Data Architect, or related position involving data modeling for the Finance domain. 6 years of experience must include: SQL and database tuning; Netezza; Data modeling; Data extraction and analysis; Data validation; Business analysis; Requirement gathering and documentation; Developing and enhancing conceptual, logical and physical data models; Defining model artifacts including Target Record Layouts (TRL) and TRL mapping; and Development, maintenance, and transformation of logical models into physical database designs.
