Responsibilities:
Inventory Control:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
Organize and maintain an accurate inventory system using computerized tracking tools.
Forklift Operation:
Safely operate a forklift to transport materials within the facility.
Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
Order Fulfillment:
Fulfill internal and external material requests accurately and promptly.
Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions and movements.
Generate regular reports to monitor material usage and availability.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct periodic inspections to ensure the quality and condition of stored materials.
Collaborate with quality control teams to address any discrepancies.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material needs for ongoing projects.
Communicate effectively with team members to streamline material management processes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in material management is a plus.
Proven experience as a Material Management Technician or similar role.
Valid forklift operator's license and demonstrated experience in forklift operations.
Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
