Ford Automotive Finance Company’s (China), (FAFC) China Data, Insight, and Analytics (CDI&A) Credit Analytics organization is looking for motivated and talented individuals with a background in statistics and econometrics.
This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to apply analytical skills to solve a variety of risk management problems at FAFC. As a member of the Credit Analytics team in CDI&A, the candidate will develop, maintain, and monitor the scorecard models. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with risk management teams to conduct and support risk analyses, providing quick viable solutions under time constraint and reporting results in appropriate forums.
Work with Risk Management team to develop, execute, and maintain risk models and algorithms
Develop tracking methodologies and reports to monitor model performance
Utilize statistical software to develop models, evaluate marketing campaigns and programs, and develop data visualizations.
Work with various data sources and platforms (Hadoop, PC, Mainframe, Unix/Linux, Teradata, flat files) to compile data
Learn new software tools as necessary
Effectively communicate and present technical material to a broad audience.
Education Qualification
Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or other technical field
No. of Years of Experience
Minimum of 3 years. 5+ years preferable experience executing both descriptive and inferential analysis in a business environment.
Professional Exposure
(Technical Skills)
Robust knowledge of statistical methods (e.g., logistic regression, time series analysis)
Experience using R, Python, Alteryx, or SAS (preferred)
Experience with SQL or Hive
Preferred previous experiences
