Position: Crew ForemanDepartment: Public WorksDivision: StreetsRate of Pay: 18.50/hr + DOE

　　Specific Duties and Responsibilities / Examples of Essential Functions• This is a skilled supervisory position that oversees and ensures that all responsibilities related to street, drainage, sidewalk, curb and gutter and any other street maintenance is accomplished on a daily basis• Ability to follow and complete work schedule• Incumbent will supervise up to 6-10 employees• Individual must be able to operate equipment related to ditch/drainage/concrete installation and maintenance• Assigns, participates and directs work of the crew in the field and participates in daily activities as needed• Lays out and directs work procedures• Maintains work records and prepares work reports• Cooperative attitude• Eagerness to achieve tasks• Performs other duties as assigned

　　Examples of Work• Forming, pouring and finishing concrete• Operation of equipment necessary to the completion of projects related to streets maintenance• Installing drainage pipe and fixtures• Performs related work as required

　　Preferred Training and Experience:High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent with two (2) or more years of related- experience or any combination of education, training, and/or experience which reflect job qualifications. Must possess a valid Mississippi Driver's License.
