JobPurpose: The Court Specialist is the point of contact for obtainingcourt-related documentation as well as e-filing court documents for theChild and Family Wellbeing Department. Qualifications: High schooldiploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associates degree orsixty (60) credits equivalent in Human Services/Social Work or relatedfield preferred. Computer/secretarial knowledge with two or more yearsof experience required. Experience with project management, informationtracking, and management and operational protocol preferred. Ability tomaintain confidentiality when reading, typing, or hearing matterspertaining to clients. Must be honest, dependable, and able to meetdeadlines; Self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability totype 40-50 words per minute with 95% accuracy. Experience with Word,Excel, and Outlook and able to organize and track information in asystematic method. Proficient in the usage of computer software;demonstrate an understanding of computer file systems and computersoftware packages, e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams, ADP,etc. Demonstrate effective cultural competency skills and able work andcommunicate respectfully with individuals from diverse economic andcultural backgrounds. Ability to apply trauma informed care practices.Physical exam, drug screen, motor vehicle report, and background checksare required for this position. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, butnot required. Some experience working with children and familiespreferred. Experience working in diverse communities with youth andfamilies. Knowledge of community resources. Ability to demonstratecritical thinking skills, detail oriented, highly effective verbal, andwritten communication skills.
