Summary/Objective
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager plays a vital role in the company’s delivery of its long-range strategic plan by developing mindsets, products, services, systems, and processes that enhance the wellbeing of people, planet, and profit (3Ps of CSR). Partnering with the global CSR team, and the VP of CSR, the CSR will identify CSR opportunities, facilitate social change, lead execution of CSR initiatives, and ensure local and global compliance. This position reports to the VP of Corporate Social Responsibility and can be located remote or on-site at one of our facilities.
Essential Functions

Manage implementation of corporate CSR initiatives: overseeing existing efforts, identifying gaps/areas for improvement, and recommending solutions
Gather, analyze, organize and present CSR data to internal and external stakeholders
Develop systems and processes to streamline ESG reporting
Provide guidance and training on CSR best practices to marketing, sales, supply chain, and operation teams
Develop and manage the sustainability communications activities and budget
Understand, prioritize, and promote changes in CSR trends and regulations
Up to 30% of domestic or international travel to internal/external CSR events, production facilities, and corporate headquarters

Leadership: prior experience leading cross-functional internal and external teams towards goals, with focus, confidence, EQ, and strong influencing skills
Relationship development: previous knowledge and experience of relationship development and building partnerships with internal and external parties such as retailers, NGOs (non-governmental organizations), charities, not-for-profits, and community groups
Effective communication and influencing skills to ensure stakeholder understanding and engagement on complex projects
Innovative thinking and creative-problem solving mindset: to avoid or mitigate environmental and social risks that could affect business operations and health

Travel

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years in a business, product, or brand management role which required strategic plan development and execution, analysis, financial acumen, leadership, and project management.
5+ years’ experience managing internal and external teams to deliver complex, detail-oriented projects on time, in full, and on budget; PMP certification a plus.
5+ years in a communications, activation, or PR role designed to build brand/corporate loyalty among retailers and consumers.
2+ years managing CSR initiatives, in any of the following areas of CSR: environmental, ethical, philanthropic, and/or economic responsibility.
Prior experience developing environmental, social, and/or corporate governance (ESG) goals and ESG reporting a plus.
High proficiency with Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams) is required; prior experience with CSR reporting software a plus (i.e. GRI, SASB, SBTi).
Salary = $90,000 - 117,000/yr
