  As a Coordinator, Safety, Health, & Environmental (SH&E), you’ll support Safety and Environmental programs for the Purina Farms facility in Gray Summit, MO and other Head Office activities. You will inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.

  • Provide safety support for various internal groups

  • Develop and provide safety training to internal workers and external contractors

  • Interact with internal, third party, and regulatory auditors/inspectors

  • Participate in and lead safety campaigns

  • Investigate incidents to identify causes and to determine how such incidents might be prevented in the future

  • Coordinate personal protective equipment program

  • Develop and maintain Learning Management System (LMS) modules

  Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in related discipline, ability to obtain one, or equivalent work history

  • 6+ months of experience working in occupational health and safety compliance

  • 6+ months of experience building or maintaining programs in a Learning Management System

  • 6+ months of experience working in a farm environment

  Other

  • 6+ months of experience using Articulate/Rise 360 is preferred

  The approximate pay range for this position is $42,000.00 to $62,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
