We are currently seeking a Control/Test Engineer II who will be responsible for supporting process/product testing activities for the Loveland manufacturing site for Life Science Products. This person will support efforts to resolve product and/or process technical issues impacting production, product quality, and delivery. Responsible for solving complex issues in a production environment through structured problem-solving and development/implementation of solutions that meet quality and production goals while adhering to company procedures and regulatory standards. The Controls/Test engineer will provide insight into and implementation of the latest technologies in a manufacturing test environment. Technical skills proficiency in the development of software-controlled automation test equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Design, improve, and implement Hardware/Software used for product testing and automated test systems as well as lead code/design reviews.
Development of test specifications for NPD in production setting.
Design and verification of Non-Product Software and develop and execute engineering verification/validation protocols.
Review and compile test results for phase gate project reviews
Work closely with R&D on the development and implementation of software/hardware for new or existing products.
The required qualifications for the job include:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, computer science, or related field, with 2+ years’ experience in hardware and software development/testing experience.
Experience in the development of software-controlled automated test equipment.
Experience with NI LabVIEW
Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to manage multiple priorities, overcome obstacles, and complete key objectives.
Experience troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Certified LabVIEW developer (CLD) and experience with JavaScript or other programming languages
Experience using CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks preferred), GD&T, Minitab (or other statistical analysis software), and project management tools.
Familiar with software and hardware test methodology and defect tracking systems including test scripting in Microsoft Windows platform.
The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 60-90K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
