Overview:
• Leads and integrates all earned, owned, and paid media and communications across classic PR, ePR, Digital, and Social Media channels for the Region to create a consumer focused and consistent brand experience.
• Works closely with CRM and CI to generate new insights and recommends programs to support sales and customer acquisition across the Region.
• Leads digital and traditional media strategy development for the Region, partnering with Global to deliver consistency in the Brand approach and messaging to consumers.
• Develops measurement and analysis guidelines and leverages consumer analytic insights to make marketing spend and content development more effective and efficient.
• Work closely with online team to drive synergy in full funnel media campaign and provide insight-driven media strategy guidance to markets to deliver impactful and efficient media campaigns.
Key responsibilities:
• Development of regional media strategy: Works closely with all APAC markets, Regional marketing, Global Communications, Regional Corporate Online, and regional local EM&D teams to develop customized media strategy (i.e. digital marketing, social media, advertising, CRM, and e/m-commerce) adapted to each market.
• Development of Influencer Strategy: Provides strategic support to Affiliates to help build Brand’s influencer network, presence through blogs, Facebook, and other strategically relevant Social platforms. Identifies meaningful partnerships to support Brand and product goals. Fully accountable for tracking, budgeting and reporting on ROI of Paid social media & influencer work.
• Optimize Social Media: Help to streamline and improve efficiency of our current social media content calendar process to dramatically improve our digital agility and speed-to-market. Working in partnership with the global brand on locally relevant strategies as required. Provides direction & focus on platforms of greatest opportunity by market. Oversees content approval that encourage action and advocacy.
• Ensure Local Relevance: Drive the development of locally-relevant digital content by collaborating with markets and Global Social and Creative teams. Provides Regional context to the brand’s Global Communications team for ideation, future planning and collaboration.
• Project Management: Manages and tracks timelines and key project milestones for APAC social media projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and markets, regional marketing, global communications and regional corporate online are on track.
• Lead Regional CRM Strategy: Define regional CRM strategy and tactics, work closely with Global team to ensure aligned brand strategy and sufficient assets support, while working closely with local brand teams to ensure aligned brand strategy, regular review of CRM analytics and continuous optimizations of CRM tactics to drive positive CRM KPIs (repeat, retention, AST, IPT, HV Surprise & Delight, etc)
• Measurement and Analytics: Develops measurement and analysis guidelines, giving framework for success based on consumer metrics. Ensures competitive reporting and analysis is being utilized by the Brand consistently. Partners with Corporate Marketing on Earned Media Value strategy and analytics, leveraging insights to make marketing spend more effective and efficient.
• Subject matter expertise and coaching: Provides ongoing education on advances in the digital space to ensure relevant skill sets at the Affiliate level. Regular sharing of best practices and key-learning among markets to help elevate the level of executions.
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
• Experience working as a consumer engagement or marketing manager in a domestic marketing role focused on managing digital marketing, communication and social media platforms for Brands. Preference of Asian market experience (KR/ JP/ HK/ TW/ SG/ TH etc)
• Preference given to those with significant product marketing experience, with clear understanding of product forecast and performance analysis, product pricing and competitive analysis.
• Ability to organize complex tasks and prioritize
