National award winning multi-disciplined engineering consulting firm is seeking a Junior Microstation Drafter to join their team in Irvine CA.

　　Primary Responsibilities

　　Create electrical drawings for facilities, such as lighting systems, power systems, communications, security and fire detection in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

　　Develop entry-level drawings by using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of other Electrical Technicians or Engineers

　　Demonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, drafting and detailing

　　Skills & Qualifications:

　　1+ years experience in designing electrical lighting, power and systems for building projects; Experience in Healthcare, Science and Technology and/or Civic facilities; Experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm highly desirable; Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired

　　Experience with MicroStation outside of an academic setting

　　Compensation: $25-$30 per Hour
