  ::: {#textEditorContainer11 title=""}::: {#textEditor10 contenteditable="false"}Gravure Ink has opened a brand new temperature-controlled facility, fully equipped with state of the art equipment, including a new printing press and is hiring a Continuous Improvement Specialist! This position will hold a key role, and report to the Leadership Team, responsible for ensuring the overall creation,

  implementation and maintenance of Continuous Improvement processes and programs to assure the highest possible degree of quality throughout the facility, with the overall goal of being ISO certified.

  Gravure Ink is a major manufacturer and supplier of decorative and textured printed vinyls and papers to different industries throughout the United States and has grown their operation to La Porte, Indiana to expand printing operations!

  The Continuous Improvement Specialist will own the overall framework and implementation of processes throughout Gravure Ink, using Lean Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence throughout the facility. This role is involved in planning, scheduling, and implementing continuous improvement activities including Kaizen on the production floor of a manufacturing facility.

  Responsibilities will included, but not be limited to:

  Identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reductionPlanning, facilitating, and executing continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma toolsTeaching, leading, and coaching cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologyWorking to continuously improve processes both on the production floor as well as transactional by collaborating with multiple functions such as logisticsClearly defining program objectives and scopeEvaluating and prioritizing potential improvements based on gains and required effortSecuring employee commitment (ex: process managers) for proactive change managementEstablishing a clear and well-articulated implementation planEstablishing criteria for the projects success and preparing a sound statement of constraints/limiting factorsResolving technical problems such as formulation, equipment, product, interpretation of regulations, and resource availabilityClearly defining methodologyAccurately analyzing options including impact and feasibilitySpecifying obstacles and ways to overcome them through continuous improvementRegularly monitoring the implementation of solutions to achieve objectives and expected benefits::::::Requirements

  ::: {#textEditorContainer13 title=""}::: {#textEditor12 contenteditable="false"}Undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management or related field preferred but equivalent combination of experience will be considered

  3+ years Continuous Improvement experience within a manufacturing facility

  Must be willing to travel overnight (Up to 30%)

  Ability to make decisions as well as influence decision-making
