About the RoleThe role is responsible for designing and implementing the commercial training strategy for the Business Unit Professional Hygiene. The Director will conduct initial competence needs analysis to determine functional knowledge gaps, training needs and then set the strategy for the delivery of Sales Training programs in close cooperation with stakeholders in the Professional Hygiene business unit.
The Director oversees the organization's Sales training Programs to ensure maximum engagement, effectiveness, and a visible Return on Investment to the sales force in Essity's Professional Hygiene business unit. In close cooperation with Sales Directors and the VPs of Sales & Marketing the Commercial Training Director ensures a collective curriculum is built connecting with stakeholders such as Sales, HR, Marketing, and e-Commerce, focus on delivery of training, processes, tools, and materials that provide effective and results driven training. The training scope will include Europe and North America and focuses besides internal staff also on delivering the TORK Academy to our distributor sales force.

What You Will Do* Design and implement the commercial training strategy based on business goals and innovation introductions of products and services* Create highly engaging and effective digital, in-person and remote sales training programs from Onboarding to specific functional areas such as a Key Account Academy* Orchestrate skill gap analysis and identify additional training opportunities* Manage and support the execution of global and regional aligned sales training programs* Plan training strategy and programs based on business goals and innovation introductions of products and services* Oversee quarterly and annual training budgets* Implement sales coaching sessions and establish knowledge sharing within segments, product and service areas within Professional Hygiene portfolio* Recommend new training methods (including e-learning courses and game-based platforms)* Develop and manage KPIs to track performance and make the necessary adjustments to the program* Establish an environment of proactive learning for Sales functions within Professional Hygiene* Managing and developing a team of training professionals
Who You Are* Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred* A training expert with digital training skills and understanding of relevant technology to support a shift in our digital transformation* 10+ years of sales, sales management or sales training experience required* Operates with a strategic mindset and identifies opportunities to expand our seller's skill set* A professional that exudes confidence and is enthusiastic, energetic, positive, and inspiring* Possesses a collaborative mindset and able to balance interests of various team members* Experienced in working with Cornerstone LMS/LXP desired* CRM - Microsoft Dynamics as well as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI proficiency* Preferred experience within a global organization* 20/25% travel requirement -- domestic and global (must possess a valid passport)
